Throughout the month of October it’s ‘Fight hunger, eat out month’. Restaurants, café’s and pubs throughout the country, including Déjà vu in Kendal, Giraffe at the Trafford Centre and Il Forno in Liverpool, will be raising money for Restaurants Against Hunger. Launched in 1998 by Action Against Hunger, one of the leading international organisations in the fight against hunger and malnutrition in the world’s poorest countries, Restaurants Against Hunger is the food lovers’ charity campaign which aims to raise vital funds for the worldwide fight against hunger by inviting food lovers all over the UK to help make a difference by eating out.

Participating restaurants raise funds by donating part of their takings, adding an optional donation to bills, creating a special dish to sell or holding a fundraising event.

“This gives us all the opportunity to do our part through what we do and love…providing much needed support for children and families around the world who still go to sleep hungry.”
