Once again North West Hospitality magazine are behind the Lakes Interiors Show taking place in October in Windermere.

£12 Million pounds is expected to be spent in Cumbria alone on improvements to hospitality businesses in the autumn as consumer demands on excellence and better standards continue to rise.

Tourism and hospitality is worth a staggering £11.4 billion pounds to the North West economy each year, hospitality businesses traditionally look at planning refurbishments and improvements after the summer season to ensure a good start to the next year.

In the hospitality and leisure market getting an outcome effectively is always of paramount importance, especially when the markets are competitive in the way that people spend their time and money. Leisure and hospitality businesses are under pressure to stay ahead of the game, because even on a local scale they are competing regionally, nationally and even globally.

Good design is proven to help improve sales, customer experience and satisfaction, and add benefits to owners, employees and customers.  It also adds value to the business.  The Design Council research has shown that good design leads to improved profitability and sustainability. Given the current uncertainty about the economy, the hospitality sector needs to ensure they have a good business master plan in place to succeed in the present economic climate.

In addition to seeing the latest products for hotels and cottages visitors are also able to take part in workshops and design seminars.

North West Hospitality Magazine is the only official media partner for this year’s event that publishes to the hospitality sector and will be featuring the event in the October issue and Christmas issue of the magazine.
