Having worked at Harvey Nichols for the last five years, Stuart Thomson’s been announced as the replacement for Alison Seagrave at the Second Floor Restaurant & Brasserie in Manchester city centre.

Stuart was Sous Chef in both the Restaurant and the Brasserie for two and a half years where he was instrumental in the creation of the past and present menus, as well as the day to day running of both venues.

The manager of the store, Iain Mackenzie, said: “Stuart has already proved himself to be a talented chef with all the relevant skills. The beauty of Harvey Nichols restaurants is that each chef is given responsibility for creating their own menu. We’re sure that he will maintain the high standards in the Second Floor and take the Restaurant and Brasserie from strength to strength.”

Previously Stuart worked at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester; Establishment, Manchester; Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond and The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh.
