Corporate boxes at Old Trafford are to get a major facelift to include outdoor balcony seating and state of the art in-box technology, to make corporate facilities at the Theatre of Dreams the best in the game.

The first phase will see a number of North Stand boxes ready in the new format for the start of next season as part of the first phase in a multi-million pound investment in facilities at the stadium, which celebrates its centenary next year.

United fans will be able to enjoy Old Trafford’s award winning hospitality in their box, before stepping outside to watch the World Champions take on Europe’s finest.

The next phase will see the remaining North Stand boxes converted by the start of the 2010/11 season.

Chief Operating Officer, Mike Bolingbroke said:

“The Club has always led the way in its corporate facilities – Old Trafford was the first ground in the country to install boxes way back in Sir Matt Busby’s time.

“This latest development will offer our box-holders greater flexibility as well as more comfort and a chance to experience first-hand the electric atmosphere Old Trafford generates.  These boxes will offer world class facilities from which to watch a world class team.”
