The luxurious Vermilion restaurant on Hulme Hall Lane in Manchester has announced the date for its first ‘Hi-Life Night’ event, which will take place on Thursday, August 6.
The acclaimed eatery joined Hi-Life Diner’s Club earlier this year and has been chosen from 200 Hi-Life restaurants in Manchester to host this summer’s dining event.
Vermilion Masterchef, Chumpol Jangprai, one of Thailand’s most respected chefs, is creating a special, five-course dinner for the night.
There will be Champagne and canapés on arrival in the venue’s lavishly furnished bar and Hi-Life’s company president, David Heeley, will make an opening speech about the night’s menu.
Guests will have the chance to mingle with fellow food lovers before enjoying mouth-watering Asian fusion cuisine with accompanying wines.
Tickets have been selling quickly since they went on sale earlier this month. Commenting on its popularity, David said: “Our network of Manchester restaurants is growing all the time and we’re proud that the acclaimed Vermilion chose to join our ranks this year.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to our first Manchester event of 2009, and showcasing some of Chumpol’s inspiring and award-winning cuisine.”
A second ‘Hi-Life Night’ is taking place at Alma de Cuba in Liverpool, on Wednesday, August 19.
Tickets to both events can be purchased by members from Hi-Life on 01253 608910 and cost £45 per person.
