Wirral brewery Betwixt Beer Company is to sponsor this year’s Wirral Food and Drink Festival, to co-inside with the official launch of its new beer.

Storr, the newest cask larger from the Birkenhead craft brewery, will be showcased within the beer marquee of which they are sponsor alongside six other craft brewer’s beers from Merseyside and Cheshire, and a further selection of Betwixt’s own range.

The host of the Wirral Food and Drink Festival at Bebington’s Claremont Farm, farmer Andrew Pimbley, applauds the company’s sponsorship, saying: ‘We were very pleased that Betwixt came to our aid.’

The Wirral Food and Drink Festival takes place this bank holiday weekend.

Just a correction of a wee typo - while we would argue we brew beers with a larger flavour than some, the beer in question, ‘Storr’ is a “cask lager” (i.e. an authentic pilsner-style lager beer, served unpasteurised, unfiltered & naturally carbonated from a traditional cask).
