Brothers Gary and Colin Manning are expanding their business portfolio with a new offering due to open in early Autumn. ‘The Quarter Kitchen’ will be the brother’s forth business in the Hope Street area complimenting acclaimed restaurant 60 Hope Street which turned ten years old this year, HOST and The Quarter.

The Quarter Kitchen will provide a retail element to what is currently on offer at The Quarter, customers will be able to purchase all the ingredients that are used to create their favourite dishes in The Quarter. The Quarter Kitchen will stock all deli essentials such as speciality meats, preserves, cheeses, spices, breads, milk and there will be ready made salads and sandwiches to take away.

Gary was recently a judge on the Food Northwest Awards 2009, judging the category for Producer of the Year. The plans for The Quarter Kitchen include using suppliers, who made the shortlist for the awards, ensuring that customers will be getting the very best products the region has to offer.

The Quarter will also be expanded with capacity for 40 extra covers as well and will enjoy a substantial investment in the kitchen’s size and facilities.

Gary Manning, co-owner said:

“We understand the positive impact our business has on the local community in the Hope Street area, that’s why we have an ongoing commitment to job creation and investment to the area. Our three eateries employ over 100 staff and we keep our supply chain local to further stimulate the local economy. The Quarter is an extremely popular destination and the addition of The Quarter Kitchen will add another string to our bow and further boost our expansion and investment plans.”
