Peter Mearns, the Northwest Regional Development Agency’s executive director of marketing and communications, is leaving after ten years at the agency
Mearns will be succeeded by Nigel Dove, currently the NWDA’s director of marketing.
Steven Broomhead, NWDA chief executive, said Mearns, who joined the agency from Birmingham City Council, where he was head of marketing, had played “an instrumental role” in supporting the development of the region’s economy and would continue to be engaged in a number of agency projects over the coming months.
