Over 60 of Liverpool’s bar and restaurant community attended The Noble House for the Pre-Event Reception for this year’s Liverpool Food and Drink Festival 2010.
The Reception, managed by Liverpool event management company SK Events, was organised to introduce this year’s festival format to previous participants and to newcomers, and to engage them in the diary of planned events.
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapes provide by The Noble House and listened to speakers who provided them with key information and detail of activities which will be taking place within the festival week proceedings.
Two major presences at the Reception were this year’s headline sponsors: Love Food Hate Waste, who outlined their manifesto objectives, and 2010 Year of Health and Wellbeing, who highlighted the 5 ways to wellbeing, with a new campaign encouraging people to think about what makes them happy and how they can improve the quality of their lives.
The Festival Team will be working closely with both of these valuable headline sponsors, in promoting and communicating their key messages to both the restaurant industry sector and consumers, in the lead up to and during the 2010 event.
Additional 2010 festival sponsors include: Business Link who sponsored the Reception, The Mersey Partnership, Liverpool City Council, Liverpool ONE and Ph. Creative.
This year’s Festival launch day will take place in Sefton Park on Sunday 12th September, with 80+ exhibitors offering a wide variety of food and drink, a chef’s demonstration area, a champagne tent and VIP area sponsored by The Noble House, plus an interactive children’s activity zone.
