Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has secured two new contracts under its new division; Macdonald Hotels Management Services.

The division was set up to gain sales, marketing and management, contracts for existing hotels, with a view to enhancing Macdonald Hotels’ extensive portfolio of luxury properties. With agreements now in place with both Pendley Manor and The Rose & Crown Hotel, the Group will manage the sales and marketing initiatives for both properties. The hotels are located in the Hertfordshire town of Tring, further strengthening Macdonald Hotels’ presence in the South East.

These new contracts will add to Macdonald Hotels existing associate hotels portfolio which currently consists of management contracts with Macdonald Hotel’s Gisborough Hall Hotel, The Roxburghe Hotel and Savill Court Hotel & Spa.

Speaking of the agreement, David Roberts, General Manager for Pendley Manor and The Rose & Crown Hotel comments: “The partnership represents a great opportunity for us to capitalise on Macdonald Hotels & Resorts’ established track record of operating within the hotel industry gained over the past two decades.”

Commenting on the division’s commitment to the continued growth of the Macdonald Hotels brand, Chris Gillett, Managing Director, Macdonald Hotels Management Services said: “Both hotels are renowned for their hospitality offering and excellent facilities. This partnership can only enhance our own portfolio and provide an increased range of locations for our customers.”

He continues; “This is a natural step for us, the Macdonald Hotels brand has a demonstrated track record in fostering successful hoteliers, by establishing long-term relationships with carefully selected partners. I hope to continue to build on the brand’s success and very much look forward to working with David and the team.”
