New Sales & Events Manager for Circus Casino in Manchester

Genting UK has appointed Kerry Parkes as Sales & Events Manager for Circus Casino Manchester.

27 year old Kerry joins Circus, the Portland Street based casino, from Grosvenor Casino in Salford where she handled the sales & marketing for the venue.

Kerry’s role will be to promote Circus Casino and its meeting and hospitality facilities, with a focus on the Big Top meeting & event room, Harlequin private gaming room, Ring Masters private dining and the fine dining 110 Restaurant,

Commenting on her appointment, Kerry says:

“Circus is a fantastic casino, but I feel it’s still maybe a little unknown amongst businesses, particularly those looking for meeting & events space with a difference. My aim is to market the brand in different ways; not just focus on the gaming, but to generate interest in our other facilities.”

Kerry also plans to utilise her events experience by implementing a range of entertainment events throughout the year to showcase the venue.

She adds:

“We have excellent VIP facilities that can be used for private hire for business or leisure so I plan to expand this area and work more closely with the corporate market.”

Originally from Cannock in Staffordshire, Kerry moved to Manchester in 2006. Prior to working in the gaming industry, Kerry held the position of Senior recruitment consultant at Kelly Services, and before then she was Business Development Manager for a model and promotions Agency.
