The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall is one year old and celebrating 12 months of success despite opening its doors during the worst effects of the credit crunch.
It has grown into one of Chester’s leading leisure destination by clocking up more than 2,000 members, delivered nearly 10,000 spa treatments and a £100,000 expansion – all before its first birthday!
Paul Kelsall, general manager for The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall, says: “Of course, when we opened last November the economic climate was a concern but in times like these people need a source of escapism and our club and spa has been the perfect antidote.
“We’re delighted at the popularity of our treatments and how much members have enjoyed our facilities. We are also finalists for the national fitness awards later this month so even with this year’s public cuts we’re confident our second year will be just as successful. During difficult times Chester residents will still need to treat themselves, family and friends or take out their work frustrations in the gym.”
The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall is celebrating its birthday success just as the worldwide wellness industry is poised to cross the $2 trillion mark in 2011, which bodes well for the future of The Club and Spa.
A study conducted by research agency SRI International states that 81% of consumers are “extremely” or “very interested” in improving their wellness, and the top three things they will do to improve this is exercise, eat better and visit a spa.
The Club and Spa has focused on bringing its guests the latest cutting-edge technologies, even expanding its state-of-the-art gym with a further £100,000 investment. The expansion included more hi-tech treadmills, bikes, rowers and the world-class Kinesis One system.
Facilities provided by the Spa at Hoole Hall include, a private couples treatment suite; 12 luxury treatment rooms; a post treatment meditation room featuring the only Dreamwave sensory experience in the UK; 18m basement pool area; thermal rooms; Watsu hydrotherapy pool leading outside to a waterfall; St Tropez Air Spray tanning room; manicure and pedicure suite and more.
The complex has doubled its membership since opening to 2,000 members and with an imminent waiting list on the way it seems the only way is up for the Cheshire sanctuary.
