The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar and Grill, Chester has plans to create an outdoor dining area this summer, after enjoying huge success in its first year.
The plans for the 60 seater outdoor dining area will give the Steakhouse an ‘Al Fresco’ experience and will be available to diners from late spring onwards.
The restaurant, which is part of the Doubletree by Hilton, Chester, has come out on top despite the credit squeeze, recession and inflation, by standing by its ‘affordable glamour’ tag. Since opening its doors last February the restaurant has turned over more than one million pounds.
Marco Says: “The response to my Chester restaurant has been great. Cheshire diners have really embraced the idea of affordable glamour.
“The Steakhouse, Bar and Grill is a place for everyone to enjoy. I’m thrilled that the establishment now sits alongside a handful of Chester’s best restaurants and that it’s here to stay.”
Jane Stoneman, food and beverage manager says: “The whole concept of affordable glamour makes the dining experience more relaxed and comfortable.
We really push the restaurant as an ‘any occasion’ establishment. Whether it’s a bite out after work, Sunday lunch with the family or the place to celebrate your birthday or anniversary, we cater to it all.
“As the summer months approach and Chester Races commence the outdoor dining area and the adjoining cocktail bar will be the perfect place for pre-race lunches and post-race drinks and dinner.”
Averaging between 60 and 130 customers a day the restaurant’s affordable glamour aura has kept footfall high and sent popularity soaring amongst Chester’s diners and celebrities alike, from Premiership footballers to primetime actors.
With the Chester Races around the corner, and fingers crossed for a warm summer, the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar and Grill looks set to be a serious contender in Chester’s top summer soiree locations.
