Opus One, located at the acclaimed Radisson Edwardian Manchester, has claimed a top spot above London stalwarts such as Sketch, Hibiscus, Cinnamon Club and Benares - as diners rate their top 100 restaurants in the largest survey of restaurant diners in the UK.
The recent survey carried out by the UK’s leading restaurant reservation site, toptable, reveals their ‘top 100 diner rated’ restaurants for the year. The rankings are based on the ratings of over half a million diners who have booked and dined via toptable.
Opus One claimed the number one spot in the Manchester listing as it was named best hotel restaurant in Manchester; ranking higher on the leader board than, iconic London hotel, The Dorchester. Opus One was described as “highly recommended’, ‘wonderful’, ‘excellent’ and ‘fabulous’ by its toptable diners.
Opus One offers guests something a little different with its seasonal menu changes, something that is favoured by Head Chef Neil Armstrong, to accommodate the abundant seasonal and local produce, which is key to this restaurant’s menu offering. So it is no surprise the five star restaurant beat off local talent San Carlo and Linen.
Unique to the Radisson Edwardian Manchester is its Roof Top Garden, which was the first fully sustainable professional kitchen garden to open in the region. The Roof Top Garden is one of the main sources of inspiration for the Opus One menu, with many of the dishes complimented by the hotel-grown produce.
